Proper drawer slide adjustment is essential for creating even gaps, smooth operation, and clean alignment. The drawer slides shown here provide three adjustment points: side, depth, and height. Each adjustment allows you to fine-tune the drawer after installation.

SIDE ADJUSTMENT

The side adjustment moves the drawer front from left to right. On these Salice slides, the adjustment range is approximately ±1.5 mm.

Use the white adjustment wheel to correct uneven gaps between the drawer front and the cabinet. Small adjustments can make a noticeable difference when aligning multiple drawers.

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT

The depth adjustment moves the drawer front slightly forward or backward, with an adjustment range of approximately ±3 mm.

This adjustment helps control the gap between the drawer front and the cabinet face. Use it to make sure the drawer sits at the correct depth and maintains a consistent appearance with the surrounding cabinetry.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The height adjustment moves the drawer front up or down. The Progressa slides shown provide approximately ±2.5 mm of height adjustment.

This is especially useful when several drawers are stacked together. Adjust the drawer fronts until the horizontal gaps are even and the drawer lines are properly aligned.

THE TAKEAWAY

Drawer adjustment is all about small, controlled changes. Start by checking the side alignment, then adjust the depth and height as needed.

Taking a few extra minutes to fine-tune the slides will help ensure that every drawer operates smoothly and that the finished installation has clean, consistent lines and even reveals.

Side = left and right. Depth = forward and back. Height = up and down.

A properly adjusted drawer should look as good as it operates.
